Rio de Janeiro – Rhythm & Joy of Life

Your journey begins in Rio de Janeiro, the city between mountains, bay, and Atlantic, which stands for pure joy of life. With the jeep, you go up to Corcovado to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue, before you find peace in the botanical garden in the middle of the metropolis. During your visit to the Pimpolhos project, you experience the world of Carnival and social engagement in the favelas up close, including samba and costumes. As a crowning finish, you glide by cable car to Sugarloaf Mountain and watch the sun set over Rio with a glass of champagne – a start that whets your appetite for more.

02 Iguassu Falls

Foz do Iguacu – Experience Nature Up Close

From the metropolis, you will continue to one of the greatest natural wonders of South America: the Iguazu Falls. Your hotel is located in the middle of the Brazilian national park, just a few steps away from the roaring waters, allowing you to experience the spectacle before the first daytime visitors arrive. On a bike tour along the Brazilian side, during a walk across the bridges in the Argentine part of the park, and from the air on a helicopter flight, you will experience the falls from every conceivable perspective. From the tranquility of the Amazon, your journey continues to Salvador da Bahia, once the first capital of Brazil and today a vibrant center of Afro-Brazilian culture. 05 Praia do Forte Bahia

Praia do Forte – Coast & Conclusion

To conclude your trip, head to the quiet coast of Praia do Forte via the "Estrada do Coco". The ruins of Castelo Garcia D'Ávila, once the residence of a large landowner from the 16th century, offer an incredible view of the northern coast, before you learn more about the protection of the sea turtles that lay their eggs here at the visitor center of the TAMAR project. Afterwards, there’s time for beach days, a stroll through the local craft shops, or simply to relax by your hotel's pool before you leisurely depart for your return flight.
