01 Manaus

Manaus – Gateway to the Amazon

Your journey begins in Manaus, the historical gateway to the largest rainforest on earth, where colonial architecture meets the splendor of the rubber boom. On a boat tour, you experience the famous natural phenomenon "Meeting of the Waters," where the dark Rio Negro and the light Solimões do not mix for kilometers. You visit floating villages and discover the magnificent opera house, the port, and the indigenous museum on a city tour – a delightful introduction to the world of the Amazon.

02 Uakari Lodge

Mamirauá Reserve – In the Heart of the Rainforest

By plane to Tefé and by boat to the Mamirauá Reserve, you reach the ecologically guided Uakari Lodge – right in the Amazon. Alter do Chão – Caribbean Flair at the Amazon

Next, you head to Alter do Chão, a real insider tip on the Tapajós River. In the dry season, its shores transform into bright white sandy beaches reminiscent of the Caribbean.
