The Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa was one of my personal highlights of the trip. Sitting in the warm, natural hot springs in the middle of the rainforest and looking at the Arenal Volcano feels almost surreal. Especially in the evening, a very special atmosphere is created there with warm steam among the plants, small waterfalls, and many quiet places to relax. And then to return to the room after such a day was pure relaxation for me.
