While some units offer a wide view all the way to the Gulf of Nicoya, others provide fantastic views straight into the cloud forest. The 40 square meter Superior Rooms offer modern comfort in studio style, while the Junior and west-facing Premium Suites provide ample space on 44 square meters, including an outdoor terrace. For families or groups, the freestanding Senda Suite, as the largest and most private bungalow highlight at nearly 88 square meters, offers a generous home in the mountains. All units are also well-prepared for guests with mobility restrictions.

At El Sapo Restaurant & Bar, a genuine, tasty cuisine is served that reflects the personality of the region. The culinary creations consistently rely on hyper-local, fresh, and sustainable ingredients, some of which are grown directly in the hotel’s greenhouse. Location

The Senda Monteverde Hotel is located in the northwestern highlands of Costa Rica, just minutes from the famous cloud forest reserves of Monteverde and Santa Elena. Due to the elevated position, you enjoy wide views over the highlands and, on clear days, can see the Gulf of Nicoya in the distance. The international airport San José is the nearest major airport and can be reached in about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive.
