This small, fine adults-only resort is an absolute oasis of calm, where one immediately shifts down a gear and completely forgets everyday life. Culinary

Fresh, colorful, and full of flavor – this is how the culinary experience at the Kura Boutique Hotel can best be described. The plates feature light and refined delicacies such as zesty ceviche, fine fish carpaccio, or spicy chicken, enhanced with crisp greens straight from the hotel's own greenhouse. The concept simply focuses on sustainability: The fresh fish comes exclusively from sustainable catch, and the meat comes from happy animals from local farmers. For perfect moments of enjoyment in between or at sunset, the Diablitos Bar & Lounge right by the grand saltwater infinity pool and the Sky Lounge on the roof offer ice-cold Costa Rican craft beers, fine South American wines, and creative cocktails mixed with local fruit extracts, while you relax and watch the toucans fly by.

Activities

The boutique hotel and its wild surroundings offer countless opportunities for adventure, wellness, and unforgettable nature encounters. The centerpiece of relaxation is the iconic saltwater infinity pool with its 180-degree view of the Pacific, followed by the Sky Lounge for yoga sessions in front of a 360-degree jungle backdrop. The hotel's own wellness area pampers guests with exotic scrubs, full-body massages, and deep bathtubs with views over the treetops. Active explorers can take advantage of the free beach shuttle to the 35-kilometer-long coast of Marino Ballena National Park to explore the colorful underwater world at the famous 'Whale's Tail' by stand-up paddleboard and snorkeling. The offer is rounded off with guided hikes to the monumental Nauyaca waterfalls or horseback rides through the mangroves and rainforest reserves of Rancho La Merced.
