Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

On a private peninsula on the Pacific coast of Mexico, where the Bay of Banderas stretches northward, lies the grounds of the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. A vast tropical garden extends through the private residential community of Riviera Nayarit, into which the resort is embedded. The architecture follows the design language of Mexican casitas, while natural materials inside reflect the essence of the place. In front of each unit lies a private terrace, where the day can be spent without any fixed plan. Scattered throughout the estate are families and groups of friends, whose presence shapes the atmosphere more than any staging. Those who arrive here find a place where Mexican hospitality guides the experience.

Rooms

Living spaces range from 60 square meters in the casitas to suites of 151 and 211 square meters, up to villas and residences from 287 to 5,000 square meters, calculated with both indoor and outdoor areas. Some units overlook the tropical garden, while others stand right by the water. On the terraces of the suites and individual casitas, there is a private plunge pool, while villas and residences come with a private pool and a fully equipped kitchen. The Beach Houses on Manzanillas Beach lead directly onto the sand, and Casa Tesoro unites seven bedrooms with infinity pools overlooking the Pacific as its largest unit. The colors of the rooms reflect the sea and sand, combining contemporary Mexican design with Huichol craftsmanship.

Culinary

Meals are usually enjoyed where the day leads. In the two-story Dos Catrinas, Mexican cuisine meets a contemporary approach, while the Bahía serves its grilled dishes barefoot in the sand. Asian-inspired dishes are served on the open terrace at Aramara, and light bowls and sushi can be enjoyed at Tamai next to the Apuane Spa. Later in the evening, the Mez-Bar with its over 70 varieties of mezcal fills up, or you can drift towards the Drift Bar at the Lazy River. At the Catch of the Day, you choose the catch directly from the local fishermen's boat and prepare it together with the chef.

Activities

Water determines a large part of the program, starting at the infinity edge of the Nuna Pool. The Punta Mita Golf Club features the Jack Nicklaus Signature courses, Pacífico and Bahía, with Pacífico hosting the Tail of the Whale, reportedly the only natural island green in the world, playable only at low tide. Off the coast, trips are available to the Islas Marietas, protected as a national park, which you can explore by snorkeling or kayak. In the Apuane Spa, 13 treatment rooms are arranged around warm and cold pools, supplemented by steam rooms with eucalyptus. In the Huichol workshop, you work with glass beads using traditional techniques, while Kids for All Seasons offers a program for younger guests.
