El Nido del Cóndor

Even at the first glance over the edge of the deep gorge, a feeling of calm and expansiveness sets in. Located on a high plateau, this special retreat, The Nest of the Condor, offers a relaxed atmosphere with a view into the depths of the canyon and right in nature, which is enhanced in the evenings by a clear starry sky without artificial city light. The house owes its name to a pair of the last Andean condors of Colombia, who have lived on the adjacent cliffs of the resort for over twenty years. The hotel is committed to actively protecting and regenerating this sensitive habitat, which is reflected in its entire sustainable concept. This creates a relaxed ambiance that is perfectly rounded off by a wealth of diverse activities in nature.

Culinary

The house's gastronomy focuses on sustainability and an authentic 'From Field to Table' experience. During an agroecological activity, guests receive direct insights into the house's own sustainable garden and learn about responsible cultivation techniques. Afterwards, the organic products are harvested directly and tasted to experience the unadulterated flavors of nature. Additionally, hospitality is paramount during excursions to a local farming family, who welcome visitors in their home with freshly prepared coffee or juices from their own crops. In the evening, guests like to gather under the starry sky by the warming campfire to exchange stories over hot drinks.
