Hotel B

In the heart of the bohemian district of Barranco, just a walk away from the Pacific, Hotel B awaits you - an artistic boutique hotel that uniquely combines history and contemporary luxury. The French architect Claude Sahut, who also contributed to the government palace of Lima, built the Belle Époque townhouse in 1914; in the 1920s it served President Augusto Leguía as a summer residence. It wasn't until 2010 that a group of eight art collectors purchased the then-dilapidated property and carefully transformed it into today's hotel, which opened in 2014 and was awarded a MICHELIN Key as Lima's only Relais & Châteaux member. Every detail tells a story here: from the antique marble floors to the more than 300 works of contemporary Peruvian and Latin American artists to the hand-picked furniture. The hotel is not just a place to stay, but an experience in itself - with a stylish restaurant, atmospheric bar, creative encounters, and access to the best galleries and boutiques of Barranco.

The 20 individually designed rooms at Hotel B are spread across three categories - the compact Alcoba rooms, the more spacious Aposento suites, and the exclusive Atelier rooms in the historic manor - and combine classic elements with modern comfort. High ceilings, artistic details, and noble materials create an intimate atmosphere, in which you feel immediately welcome. Some rooms feature balconies with views of the historic Barranco district, while others offer tranquility in the courtyards. Warm colors, selected artworks, and high-quality bedding ensure restful nights. The suites invite you to linger with freestanding bathtubs and cozy seating areas - a perfect retreat in the middle of the city.
